Carly Greco

Board Member since 2019
Chair, Recruitment Committee

Carly joined the Emmanuel at Brighton community in 2019 when her daughter joined the Sprout room.

Carly believes strongly in the power that relationships, connection, and community hold for our wellness. She is a registered social worker in private practice, where she provides individual counselling with a focus on perinatal mental health and experiences of grief. Carly began her career in community organizing and has experience working with individuals, families, and groups through counselling, system navigation, and advocacy in public and nonprofit settings. An active community member, Carly is a regular volunteer and collaborator on issues of gender equity and reproductive rights.

Carly grew up in northern Ontario and spent every childhood vacation exploring provincial and national parks. She loves being able to share her love of hiking, camping, and swimming with her child, in addition to fostering a love of active transportation. Carly lives in Kitchener with her partner, daughter, and dog, and you can usually find them cycling the Spur Line Trail. In her spare time, Carly can be found learning to be a better baker, or lost in a good book.
