Michelle Jutzi
Board member since 2020
Recruitment and Nomination Committee
Diversity and Inclusion Committee
Michelle has been part of the Emmanuel community since 2019 when her eldest son, Elijah, joined the Tree Tops room. Elijah is now a delighted Maygwayyawk student and her youngest son, Sebastian, joined the Seedlings room this past Fall. Michelle, and her husband John, are enjoying watching their children inquisitively explore nature, develop meaningful relationships with friends and educators and foster a strong sense of self.
Professionally, Michelle is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) who has worked in the field of Human Resources and Talent and Organizational Development for over 10 years, most recently working in higher education. Michelle is passionate about helping people find meaningful employment and takes pride in developing innovative and inclusive ways to recruit, engage, develop and retain employees. She is a creative problem solver who enjoys brainstorming and developing out-of-the-box solutions. She prides herself on being a collaborator who continually seeks diverse community perspectives and expertise to help her make informed decisions. Michelle hopes to couple her gratitude of the Emmanuel community with her passion for career fulfillment to help support Emmanuel in their mission to inspire a love of lifelong learning.
In her spare time, you can find Michelle swimming at the lake, exploring the forest, lifting weights, napping in the island hammock, and acting out fairly elaborate scenes from Star Wars with her sons.
